About me

Hi my name is Sigurbjörn Guðjónsson and I live in Reykjavík, Iceland, with my fiancée and our two year old daughter. I’ve been working as a developer since 2002 primarily in web development and design. My programming languages of choice have been PHP, C# and ASP.NET. I’m currently a student in Computer Science at Reykjavik University.

I recently started working for Focal Software & Consulting (www.focal.is) here in Iceland as a .Net developer. My first project is in SharePoint development so I began reading books and blogs from around the SharePoint community. At first I was sceptical (probably ignorant) but quickly found myself getting more and more interested in developing solutions in SharePoint. Personally I think I needed the change from constantly re-inventing the wheel in custom web development so I’m very interested to see where this takes me.

Then came this blog! It’s my first time writing a blog and I’m hopeful that I won’t fall into the bottomless pit of never-updated-eternity like so many others. It will primarily be focused on SharePoint and .Net development.
